New flash fiction: "Survivor" by James Dillingham

Science fiction writer James Dillingham recently wrote a nice piece of flash fiction titled “Survivor” (2011) for something called the Daily Flash Fiction Challenge. Set on the Red Planet, the piece contains the following words: boot, cold, stairway. Here’s the first line: “The foggy exhale hung for an eternity before eventually dissipating into the thin Martian air.”

James Dillingham is a consultant by day and a writer at night. He’s a family man, lives in California, and loves his dog.
