Thanks to the wonderful world of scouting, you ran read the four-part Robert A. Heinlein serial “Tramp Space Ship” as it was originally published in the September, October, November, and December 1952 issues of Boys’ Life magazine. I’ve embedded Part 3 below, in which the twin teenage Stones, Castor and Pollux, sell used bicycles on Mars and buy a native Martian “flat cat” as a pet for their brother Buster!
An expanded version of “Tramp Space Ship” was published as the Heinlein juvenile novel The Rolling Stones (1952).
