1940's short story: "Death Desert" by Robert Moore Williams

Thanks to the industrious folks at the Internet Archive, you can read online or download “Death Desert,” a short story penned by well-known science fiction writer Robert Moore Williams and illustrated by less well-known pulp artist Robert Fuqua, as it was originally published in the November 1941 issue of Amazing Stories magazine.

“The savage code of the Martians was as ruthless as the desert they live on; and more valuable than millions in gems.”
