SFU: Imaginative transformation in C. S. Lewis's classic 1938 novel Out of the Silent Planet

Class is in session over at the website Republibot, where Charlie W. Starr, a professor of English and Humanities at Kentucky Christian University, has written a scholarly piece entitled “Imaginative Transformation in C. S. Lewis's Out of the Silent Planet.” The first novel in Lewis’s classic science fiction trilogy, Out of the Silent Planet (1938) revolves around a British professor of philology who makes an unexpected journey to the planet Malacandra, a fictional version of Mars.
