This beautiful copy of the December 1913 issue of The All-Story magazine, featuring the first installment of Warlord of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs and adorned with a crusading John Carter on the cover, sold for $3,107 earlier this week at an auction hosted by Heritage Auctions of Beverly Hills. It was part of the Jerry Weist Collection of Science Fiction & Fantasy Art and Books, which realized more than $1 million!
