Barry Napier, who, after several years of hard work, just announced that the first issue of
Birdwatching from Mars is now available for purchase. A dark graphic novel written by Napier with black-and-white interior artwork by
Luis Puig,
Birdwatching from Mars chronicles a secret operation to transport the world’s elite population to a base on the Red Planet following an asteroid strike on Earth.
At the moment,
Birdwatching from Mars is available only for the
Kindle e-reader. A PDF version will be available later this month. A print version, which will sport a sleek glossy cover and use color "in some fairly interesting ways," will be available by the end of June.
