Triple film review: Invaders from Mars, Red Planet Mars, and Robinson Crusoe on Mars

The website AV Club recently posted a refreshing thematic review of three well-known science fiction films from the 1950's and 1960's:

Invaders from Mars (1953), starring Jimmy Hunt, Helena Carter and Arthur Franz.

Red Planet Mars (1952), starring Peter Graves and Andrea King.

Robinson Crusoe on Mars (1964), starring Paul Mantee, Victor Lundin, and Adam West.

  1. Robinson Crusoe on Mars has been a bit of a guilty pleasure since I first saw it late night tv many years ago.

  2. Dave: If you like Robinson Crusoe on Mars, check out the cover of this beautiful press book in my Flickr photostream!

  3. Very Cool! Saved that one to print as a dvd liner. Though, I'm pretty certain oxygen pills are not "scientifically authentic."
