The blog Grantbridge Street & Other Misadventures has handsome readable jpegs of “The Monster on Mars,” a seven-page, black & white comic by revered American cartoonist and comic book writer & artist Basil Wolverton. Originally published in Weird Tales of the Future #3 (Sept 1952) and reprinted in Basil Wolverton's Tales of the Future #1, “The Monster on Mars” revolves around Earthman Bob Burke, lone castaway on Mars, who battles mercurian killers to save a hideous monster!
