Review of Leigh Brackett’s 1949 tale The Sword of Rhiannon

Brian Murphy of the blog The Silver Key recently posted an excellent review of one of my favorite works of Martian science fiction and fantasy: The Sword of Rhiannon (1949), a classic sword-and-planet tale written by Leigh Brackett that chronicles the harrowing adventures of a Martian archaeologist named Matthew Carse on the Red Planet.

The Sword of Rhiannon was originally published in the June 1949 issue of Thrilling Wonder Stories as "Sea-Kings of Mars" and was reprinted in 2009 by Paizo Publishing.
