Call for beta readers for forthcoming novel Ghosts of Mars by Joseph Robert Lewis

Writer, editor, web developer, graphic artist, and publications designer Joseph Robert Lewis recently put out a call for beta readers for his forthcoming science fiction novel Ghosts of Mars. Lewis is “looking for readers who have a general interest in science fiction to read my new novel. Topics include cloning, artifical intelligence, adoption, death, identity crises, battles royale with evil robots, and more car and motorcycle chases than you can shake a stick at. On Mars!”

To save New Troy from falling birth rates, Asher Radescu clones dying people in the back of his old truck. But to save the Martian colony from invasion, he’ll have to rally persecuted cloners, resurrected cyborgs, and celebrity racers to defeat an army of homicidal AIs. It would help if Asher’s ex-wife wasn’t building a weapon of mass destruction and the young clones weren’t obsessed with avenging the deaths of their donors. But of course, they are.

The cast of characters is posted on Lewis’s blog.

Ghosts of Mars is scheduled to be published in January 2011.
