Hollywood actor Tony Curtis (1925 - 2010)
The New York Times reports that legendary Hollywood film actor Tony Curtis (1925-2010) died yesterday at his home in the Las Vegas area. Perhaps best known for his comic role opposite Marilyn Monroe in the 1959 film Some Like It Hot, Curtis later starred as alleged serial killer Albert DeSalvo in the 1968 film The Boston Strangler and as movie mogul J.P. Shelldrake, who is in desperate need of a tax loss to keep the Internal Revenue Service off his back, in the ridiculous science fiction-horror-comedy spoof Lobster Man from Mars (1989).
