New trailer for Disney film John Carter
Earlier today, Disney released the second trailer for John Carter (2012), the long-awaited film adaptation of the beloved Edgar Rice Burroughs science fiction novel A Princess of Mars (1917). Directed by Andrew Stanton, the film stars Taylor Kitsch as Confederate army captain John Carter, Lynn Collins as the lovely princess Dejah Thoris, and Willem Dafoe as the bad-ass green martian Tars Tarkas.

This looks promising and interesting! I've added it to my list of books to read. The movie looks a bit derivative of current box office sci-fi movies, so I'm curious to see what the author's original image of this was! :)
