New free fiction: "How Maartje and Uppinder Terraformed Mars (Marsmen Trad.)" by Lisa Nohealani Morton

Lightspeed, an online magazine focusing exclusively on science fiction that was recently nominated for a Hugo Award, has an excellent new short story: “How Maartje and Uppinder Terraformed Mars (Marsmen Trad.)” by Lisa Nohealani Morton. It’s a Marsmen myth that explains how the Red Planet was terreformed, told from the point of view of a mythological character. Highly recommended!

Note: The image pictured above is a piece of interior artwork Virgil Finlay created for an unrelated novelette about Mars that was published back in 1952. I think it complements Morton's story. See if you agree!
