According to a neat monthly report of sales estimates for comic books and trade paperbacks compiled by John Mayo of Comic Book Resources, John Carter: World of Mars #1, published by Marvel, was the bestselling Barsoomian comic book for October 2011:

#147 – John Carter: The World of Mars #1 (Marvel) – 15,550 copies

#174 – Warlord of Mars #11 (Dynamite) – 12,491 copies

#177 – Warlord of Mars: Dejah Thoris #7 (Dynamite) – 12,296 copies

#220 – Warlord of Mars: Fall of Barsoom #3 (Dynamite) – 8,962 copies

#270 – John Carter: A Princess of Mars #2 (Marvel) – 6,742 copies

And, Warlord of Mars, published by Dynamite, was the bestselling Barsoomian trade paperback for October 2011:

#40 Warlord of Mars (Dynamite) – 1,521 copies

#64 Warlord of Mars Dejah Thoris v1: Colossus of Mars (Dynamite) – 1,172 copies
