Free new short story: “Parker McCloud at North Tharsis” by Wyatt Davenport

Here’s an interesting new free short story: “Parker McCloud at North Tharsis” (2011), by a Canadian writer named Wyatt Davenport. Part of Davenport’s Lunara Series, which I’m not familiar with, the story features character Parker McCloud as he fights for the people of North Tharsis on Mars against the tyranny of a wicked colonial leader.

Wyatt Davenport was born in the late 1970’s in Ontario and earned a computer science degree from the University of Western Ontario.He currently lives in Colorado Springs with his wife and their two Siberian Huskies. An avid fan of SF&F, Davenport is inspired by authors like Timothy Zahn, Michael Crichton, Robert Aspirin, and J. R. R. Tolkien.
