1970s graphic adaptation of Roger Zelazney's classic "A Rose for Ecclesiastes" illustrated by Gray Morrow
Thanks to the comics blog Grantbridge Street & other misadventures, you can read a graphic adaptation of one of my favorite works of Martian science fiction & fantasy, the classic novelette “A Rose for Ecclesiastes” (1963) by Roger Zelazny, as it was illustrated by artist Gray Morrow and published in the January 1978 issue of Heavy Metal magazine.
The storyline revolves around a poetic Earthman stationed on the Red Planet, who falls in love with a Martian woman after being invited into an ancient temple to study their sacred texts.
