Michael Chabon foreword to Dark Horse bleached reprint of Marvel John Carter, Warlord of Mars comics from 1970's

Thanks to someone who spends way too much time on the planet of Barsoom, I received a complimentary copy of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ John Carter of Mars, Warlord of Mars (March 2011), a hefty, 632-page, black-and-white volume published by Dark Horse Comics that collects, bleaches, and reprints all 28 issues of the colorful John Carter, Warlord of Mars comic series, plus the three annuals, that were originally published by Marvel Comics in the late 1970's.

Here’s the foreword to the book, which was written by award-winning science fiction author Mike “Burroughs” Chabon, who is also involved in the writing of the long-awaited Disney/Pixar film John Carter of Mars (2012).
