Free Comic Book Day: 1950's "The Face on Mars" by Jack Kirby and Al Williamson

Thanks to an old post at Pappy’s Golden Age Comics Blogzine, you can celebrate Free Comic Book Day by reading crisp jpegs of a five-page comic titled "The Face on Mars". Written by the legendary Jack Kirby and inked by the late Al Williamson, "The Face on Mars" was published in Harvey Comics’ Race for the Moon #2 (September 1958).

I wonder if Richard C. Hoagland, who was born in 1945 and is the author of the bestselling science fiction book The Monuments of Mars: A City of the Edge of Forever (1987), read this comic as a kid!
